This page explains what happens to the details you send us through this website. It covers the website only – your medical records at the hospital are governed separately.

What we collect
Only what you type into the appointment form: your name, your mobile number, the part of the body concerned, your preferred date and session, and any message you add.
We do not ask for your address, your date of birth, your insurance number or any medical record through this website. Please do not send detailed medical information through the form – bring it to your appointment instead.
Why we collect it
To call you back and arrange an appointment. That is the only purpose.
Where it goes
When you submit the form, the details are sent to the hospital’s WhatsApp number so that reception can act on them, and a copy is recorded in the website’s own appointment list so that no enquiry is lost.
WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms and has its own privacy terms, which apply to the message once it arrives there. We use it because it is what the hospital actually monitors during the day, and an enquiry that nobody reads is worse than no enquiry at all.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or pass your details to any third party for marketing. We will not send you promotional messages.
The exception is the ordinary one: where we are required to disclose information by law.
How long we keep it
Appointment enquiries are kept only for as long as they are needed for scheduling and follow-up, and are deleted once they are not. We do not keep them to market to you later.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.
The videos page embeds films from YouTube using the
youtube-nocookie.com domain, which does not set a tracking
cookie unless you press play on a film. If you do, Google’s own terms
apply to that.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), so what you type into the form cannot be read in transit.
Your choices
You can ask us what enquiry details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Call 0261 2562737 or email drshiroya@gmail.com and tell us the mobile number you used, so we can find the enquiry.
Children
We treat children at the hospital, but the appointment form is intended to be completed by an adult – a parent or guardian booking on a child’s behalf.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published here.
